Thanks to the Joho the Blog, MoveableType’s Explanation and TrackBack Technical Specification, Flat8 now does trackbacks.
The system still needs a few changes to be made but pinging should now occur. I took the same approach I used for site update …

As far as I know, blogger doesn’t support it, but an add-on, Haloscan, does. See:

AFAIK .. MovableType AND WordPress both support trackback
