Thanks D I can learn something new everyday. I didn't know poison ivy was in the cashew family and that cashew shells could cause a reaction. I wonder if this is the root of most nut allergies....poor processing. http://www.poison-ivy-oak-treatment.info/sumactin-poison-ivy-treatment/

Thanks so much for this information. I am highly allergic to poison ivy and – in the past – I have broken out in rashes from eating some mystery food. This page has helped to to determine that these rashes are indeed caused from cashews.
