President Nominates Privacy Oversight Board Members

After remaining empty for a month (sic), President George Bush last week nominated three individuals to fill the five vacancies on the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, Wired reports . . . The president’s three nominees include Daniel Sutherland of the Department of Homeland Security, George Mason University law professor Ronald Rotunda and Francis X. Taylor who served during the Board’s original configuration.
