Actually, all cultures do have such a word, and strangely enough it is the SAME word in all cultures –WDWISTPOT.

Loosely translated, it means Why Don’t We Invent Something To Protect Our Toes

I would have thought they’d be the ones wondering if we steel-toe-capped shoe wearing folk also had a dozen related words that described the various ways in which toes could be hurt by unwanted terrestrial encounters.
