The problem is that the American populace doesn't pay attention. If the right wing pundits on Fox News and the radio talk shows simply continue to act and talk as if he hasn't presented any solutions, then as far as the uninformed voter is concerned, he hasn't. So many people in this country are happy to accept the news and opinions given to them by their chosen filter. Admittedly, we on the left can be guilty of this as well.
