    If you’re going to go all graphical, you might want to have a look at “Visual Search” by Ebsco (say, Academic Search Premiere for starters).

    At the very least, it’s an interesting concept. Perhaps not completely a concept map but quite a piece of distillation-thru-animation just the same.
