Agent Smith: Tell me, Mr. Anderson… what good is a phone call… if you’re unable to speak?

Tell me, Mr. Weinberger, what good is a website… if you’re unable to connect?

What good are lawyers to someone who’s guilty until innocent?

How could lawyers prove someone is innocent of infringement if the whole point of ‘graduated response’ was that lawyers couldn’t prove someone guilty?

Even with proof of innocence, what good are lawyers outside a court of law, in a jurisdiction where no court is to be available?

What good is a lawyer to a witch against a witch-finder general or to a heretic against the Spanish Inquisition?

Tomorrow we remain on the Internet only at the cartel’s pleasure, just as visitors to a theme park only remain whilst they behave themselves and consume the entertainments and comestibles provided…
