Adina Levin writes, in an email:

Have you ever read Sources of Power by Gary Klein? The book is badly named; it is not a neomachiavellian business manual; it's fascinating social science research on how people (really) make decisions, in contrast to how we think people make decisions, influenced by our mental models of people as computers.

Spoiler: people make and share decisions with stories

Blog summary here.

Sounds fascinating.

I'm not normally into this sort of thing, but I think that Klein's book is the absolute top. It's very much about how people make decisions in a 'ready-at-hand' kinda way. Mad props to Gary Klein yo.

The just-published book, JESUS PLAYS THE CATSKILLS, puts The Prince of Peace on stage as a Jewish stand-up comic in the Borscht Belt telling his story and teachings in a way all can understand and relate to. Outrageous, hilarious, and uplifting.

I invite you to visit http://www.jesusplays.org to read excerpts from the book (INCLUDING AN "ASK JESUS" CHAPTER) and to order copies for yourself and others. If you would like to swap links with our site, so as to share traffic, we'd be happy to do so.
