ive been looking for a way to make a character on everquest. is there any way to create one or at least to tweek one, to make it the level you want, im tierd of paying to work for levels. kamen

Nope. I uninstalled the game after about three hours of playing it...just about the time I saw a bunch of people standing around fishing. Could it get any more boring? Well, apparently lots of people like it. Not my cup of tea.

Nope. I don't know anything about EQ on any platform in any sense or any regard.

There are ways to make yourself run faster in Everquest as well as a host of other things. I wouldn't recommend them though as the technique can be detected by Sony. My advice would be to load EQ into a window run the program in the background, then before zoning take it off, zone, restart the proggie. That way Sony shouldn't be able to detect it as it only flags when zoning. If you take a look at www.ethernalquest.com you should be able to find some useful tips there. The way to hack Everquest is by hex editing, instead of learning people will normally provide the offsets for you but as Verant patrols forums you may find that as soon as they are posted they are soon compromised. That said there are people who are willing to give you offsets for a small fee. Up to you on that one. For what you get though I wouldn't bother. ShowEQ is your best bet, I use it myself and it's extremely useful. I'm looking at other ways, I brute force hack personally. I'll let you know! :-)

What's the point in hacking an online game? Fine..I can understand hacking a single player game..You paid for the game and should be allowed to enjoy the story...

but an online game? It's stupid...Take a look at Diablo, everyone was hacking that..what was the point? What did anyone accomplish? They simply ruined the game...(Although in all fairness to actual hackers most of these peeps on diablo were script kiddies and not hackers)

and for the guy who stated "much money as i want whenever i want" here's a tip...Do some hunting and play the game...if you enjoy the game enough to play it, and pay them every month a fee for the right to play it, why would you want to run it or it's economy? It's silly...

And the person wanting to hack the PS2 version of EQ? That's just pure laziness! It takes less than 4 months to reach the maximum lvl of EQOA...and that's if you hunt solo! If you do it in large groups you can do it much MUCH faster...

I have a question about EQ ,,I have been playin the game for atleast a month and im on lvl 24.

Showeq isnt a "hack" since nothing is modified. ShowEQ displays the map of the zone your in, it displays all the spawns, players and items dropped on the ground. It also shows information about the player. It is a cheat, but I think of it more as a tool.

There is now a windows version called MySEQ. That one is not passive though. It reads the information from the clients memory and thus is more detectable.

If you want bunches of plat, about the best you can do is to buy it from playerauctions.com Pretty much everything is server side now and memory hacks are very detectable.

Agree with u SEQ User, ShowEQ is a tool. Because of some point:
1st, It only tell you where what how, but do the work for you.
2nd Its a very difficult program to install (only ppls who want to pass a ton of hrs have it), and those ppls are most of the time powergamer(mean they playing a ton of hrs) and for them its only a way to gain a few mins..
3th This program modify nothing, only showing. Personatly i like to know what happening on my compiutor and not only letting it works.

What do you mean wasted your time if you haven't managed to get over level 30 in a month? That's such BS. I have a life, and unlike people who manage to play the game at least 12 hours every day I can't. I have work to do and such. I think its a major accomplishment to get to level 20 in 2 months on average playing everyone week or 2/3 weeks for about 4 hours(usually on saturdays). Now playing for 4 years and never got past lvl 15?! WHY are you still playing?! Obviously the game is a little too hard for you or you aren't investing enough time!

How embarassing is this? I played EQ for 3 months (including the time i farmed plat/sat on my butt being lazy) and I have a char at 56... If you don't know how to hack in EQ you are just a moron! I found a hack within 3 minutes of searching and it runs SEVERAL nice functions all of which are very rare, but I was able to get within 24 hours of getting the hack. You all suck!

Plat hacking is possible - dupes.

Many, many people have found them and keep them to theirselves. It is a way to duplicate the money you currently have to a sum of money you wish...

I know its imposible to edit your char. in EverQuest without going through Sony...but what about the EQUI_Inventory.xml? Im a Pure newb when it comes to this sort of thing but could you somehow edit the the money slots:

So that the set amount of Plat in the inventory slot stays the same even after a transaction....or maybe changeing the copper inventory slot to Plat too, so that you would recive twice as much Plat during a loot? =)

You can buy all the plat, characters you could ever want at www.playersbay.com, for Everquest and just about any other online game.

Alright, you cant hack accounts, everything it watched - your IP's are logged... If for some dumbass reason you give your information out and someone steals your account, you can goto the www.everquest.com/support and change it back to the original owners information with showing some proof that its yours.

Ok folks.. I've read all of these and have been cracking up the whole time... the only decent things I saw were from Zero (Good concepts, but not sure they'd work because of the reason that verant stores your plat and logs it, but if you could get that to work,,, it'd be groundbreaking :)) and from all the guys that said you really can't 'hack' everquest.... I've actually been there, done that, and got my super nice account banned because I was fooling people in to giving me their SN and passwords... I was young, and dumb, and now I play on EQ with no hacking and I'm just fine... Guys, to play and be successful in this game,,, you gotta do it legit... if you end up hacking it won't be fun anymore,, and you WILL get caught eventually... I think it took them 6 hacked accounts to finally find me and ban me.. Bottom line is, it's just NOT worth it if you really love this game like I do... Also,,, dammit i've been playing for 4 years, and my highest char has been 42... I know I know,, crazy ain't it? BUT I do like player MANY different characters, so it's my own dumbass fault lol :) but 50+ in a few days? Seriously guys... get a life, and get laid for once.. Back away from the keyboard very slowly, so you don't startle yourself....

HI ok here the real truth you cant hack EQ its just to hard and if you do then a GM will have to check you past records that right very 1 your hole game from day 1 is stored so its going to be pretty obivious to any guide or GM to find out you have been cheating and as for duping ive been playing for very 1 year now now im not saying i know very thing but i know a bit and none of my m8's can do it and ive never heard of any 1 doing it so just forget that ok i have 6 character ok a lvl 65 paladin with 70 aa a lvl 57 enc a lvl 53 monk a lvl 43 shadow knight a lvl 38 ranger a lvl 36 shammy a lbl 35 berzerker so i think i can put my 2 cents in )you can make a character to lvl 50 in about 3 weeks of you play very day for about 5h you start in quenos killing bug and rats till you hit lvl 5 then you goto quenos hills the next zone and kill there to lvl 9 then in quenos hills there a place called blackburrow go there till lvl 14 then you goto paula caverns that your first real lvling zone you stay in paula caverns till you lvl 23 then you goto high hold keep there you kill goblins till your lvl 34 then you go up stairs and start to kill the guard there they are great xp and they are great very guard carries a 5 pp sword and cam drop up to 8pp and there are 52 guard in the zone so you guys do the math the guard will get you to lvl 43 then there is a person called mistress anna she is good xp till lvl 46 then still in hhk there are noble you can kill they will get you to lvl 52 easy some stay there till lvl 55 but i think it just get to slow after 52 now im talking from experience if you play 5 h a day you will be lvl 52 in about 3 weeks and after that you in for big trouble xp slows down so much and i mean that zone to try after lvl 52 are plane of nightmare that good xp to lvl 56 then goto plane of valor you cant get in there before lvl 56 and the mob are killers they hit for up to 600 dmg you can lvl in plane of valor to lvl 65 so guys i hope that help you out good EQing from silverblade lvl 65 pally VS server

ok i dont care if any one reads this but ive been playing for a year and i have 3 level 65 and a lvl 47 well on the way i got little help from friends other then the day i started he gave me 1k to get started but other then that i just rocked 4 years and level 14 ok this IS possable but you have to play about 15 min a day and about 10 min is leveling and youd have to solo becasue no one wants you for 5 min and if your soloing most peopel take 2-3 min to kill heal and pull another so A. you need to quit B. quit with the porn and play more or C. stop complaining

Sigh, everyone... listen for one moment. This is a game... with me so far? What's the point in hacking a game? Where will it get you in life? Will it get you laid? No. There's no point, if you wish to play the game then play it... don't cheat, don't play it hour upon hour, just casual. It's a game, a simple game. I mean really... what would you do if you got however much cash you wanted in this game? You'd be happy until the new wore off... about 20 mins. There's my 2 cents. Accept it or not, it's the truth.

Here's a pointer for all you wanting to hack EQ. Learn how it works, how it's servers work, and how these can be manipulated. IF you learn all this, it's easy as pie. I for one do know this type of stuff, but choose not to, because it would ruin the fun of the game. If your to lazy to learn all this, then don't dream of hacking EQ, because you will never understand what your doing and more than likely do something very bad and get banned, or worse, sued by sony/verant. The lawsuits they could land on you could add up to more than you will over make in your measily life.

Surevey says True and true .. THe bug for the 1 gold to 1 plat was the banker in befallen that wasnt supposed to be there .. and yes you can make level 65 chars in 3 days Ive done about 10 to 15 chars but thats no cheat its jsut Power leveling =D.

Ok you all here it is im 16 and i playd eq for 3 yrs, now there are cheats yes but rare within the game i dont need the box and its not hard to hack, but i dont do it yet i know how, i have 4 servers with 3+ chars lvl 60+, its fairly eassy now with LDoN, ok hint at lvl 1-10, lvl in n00b areas (out front of home town), lvl 10-15 hunt in Crushbone in Gfay, save and loot EVERYTHING! make another char ( erudite ench,) spend all points on char. and transfer loot to him then sell, why? well char increses you fraction with the NPC'S hench give you more money for the loot, now lvl 15-28ish lvl in Unrest,through dagnors, in ButcherBlock, lvl 28-40's do lots of LDoN'S!, once ur hear you should have acumulated enough drops from ldons u got some ok gear, now if you want to twink ur chars within a bit of time, FOR BARDS ONLY HERE!-- go to butcherblock and camp goblins there heads sell 4.2p each, now with ur speed song time the spawn rate then u go from camp to camp killing as they respawn!!!, comon sens ehh?, if a tank/ hybreed class or necro hunt wooly mammoths in Halas, they are arround the "Y" if you look at ur map, they sell 8-11pp a tusk, CAUTION! they weigh 10 Lbs, so get weight reduction and larg bags!, ( with these two spots you can generate arround 200-500pp an hr!, 5 hrs makes arround 2,500+pp, as a bard the gobs generate around 200+pp in about 20 mins,2 hrs makes close to 2k also *chough* hint hint. lol =), now as u twink ur chars, and have a lvl 40 ish try to get a wizzy to port you to the different plans, some are 45+, if you dont wana go there go to Lower guk, from upperguk, from innuthule swamp!, at arround lvl 50 some classes wil be able to solo there and nice stuff can drop!, Fbss, FFBSS, MoD, etc, lots more, now you can get lvl 50 ish, then go to planes and ull rock till lvl 65!!!, now back to hacking somtimes you can fall through zones right? well if it dose happen, whic yes you can detect were it will happen which i wont give out i want you to learn that skill, its not hard, well then you can enchance what you want, weps, lvl, permenent sow, etc. but i cant metion the exact hacks, well cuz it will wreck gaming, but all these are non-detectable unles shown in fron of crowds, or you mention the hacks during game play,you may have to buy the hacks unless u brute force hach, wich means trial and error, but thats ur option, well i really hope this helps allot of you out there and enswers some questions lol, have fun and GL!, if any questions email me at hollywood_0688@hotmail.com, all hints are for pc version of EQ

ROFL .. Umm Lemme clarify some things ..
1st anything server side cannot be hacked or manipulated without them knowing they will know .. Certain things are contained on the client inside EQgame.exe. Grab up a memory editor like WinHack or Winhex or Tsearch a dissasemler like Wdasm a jump calc and a basic windows calculator .. If you know anything about reverse engineering or dissasembly its helpfull but overall youll need to know how hex works, and how to modify pushes as well as Find addresses and make them work .. Nothing of importance is hackable BTW . Things like money HP mana Resists etc are all server side .. Bascially anyhting really worth hacking cant be hacked anymore. As far as building characters fast etc .. well thats all jsut knowledge of the world of Everquest... Where to hunt what to kill etc .. I can take a character from level 1 to about 35 in roughly 4 to 6hrs If I use my other chars to PL then roughly 2 hrs .. post 35 it starts gettin long .. Good luck ..

To ammend my previous post yes I do know what Im talking about .. I have 6 accounts.. Each account contains roughly 5 level 65 chars and I have numerous amts of chars between 40 and 60 .. Its not hard honestly jsut takes some work .. and can be done all without hacking the game .. Dont hack to get ahead hack to learn .... I didnt really look into it until about 2 years after the game came out and have never used anything hack wise that Ive learned or have came up wioth etc .. to level my characters .. I dont even use the hacks in game, I simply find and test offsets jsut to keep skills fresh ..

hey....if you want some killer pp (need to be somewhat higher lvl to do this) then go to the mountains of Rathe and kill the Hill Giants....these guys are rich as hell...they drop around 40pp AVERAGE so quit trying to hack and just spend a couple hours up on the hill and make some sweet money....happy hunting

Reading through this post and it seems like the same questions are asked and the same answers are given.
Here's my take on the whole deal.

EQ Hack - You might be able to hack EQ but you won't get away with it. You'll just get banned and your hack EQ account deleted.

Leveling - In my experience, easiest way to level is find a group and hunt in:

01 - 10 Newbie starting area
11 - 15 Crushbone Camp
16 - 25 Paludal Caverns
26 - 30 High Keep / LDoN Adv
31 - 40 Overthere / Dulak / Great Divide / LDoN Adv
41 - 50 Dreadlands / Gulf of Gunthak / LDoN Adv
50 - UP PoP / LDoN Adv

Should take you about 3 months to 4 months to get to 53, then it slows from there.

Making Plat - If you want to get plat just kill giants, anyzone, anykind. They drop loot and lotsa plat. Giants in Dreadlands drop Giant's Tunic sells for 65pp to NPC vendors and Forest Loop that sells for 235pp also a nice ear piece Dex +3, Wis +3 and AGI +3 no level requirement, Giants in Great Divide drop Velium weapons and giant toes that sell for 10pp.

Look, If you want to hack Everquest, then you have no reason playing it. I own two accounts with one lvl 65 Necromancer and one lvl 61 Shaman. Been playing for 3 years, and i simply cant figure out the point of cheating in a game that is based on group-fun. When you hit the higher levels you cant play single. Welll it depends on what character you have but still, its a groupgame, i think its the best mmorpg game ever made! Dont try to cheat/hack, you would probably destroy the game. If you have the erge for that...try www.eqemulator.net instead. They got servers with diffrent rules. On some servers you accually can change your own level. I can asure you that you will think its pretty boring after makin 100 characters with the best armor and the highest level and killed the hardest monsters.

Went level 1 to 65 in 17days played. That was over the course of A month and a half. Leveling in EQ is not hard at all. Just exp and dont do anything stupid. Dont waste your time running all over the world looking for better exp spots or groups. Do a little research (above posts have all the info you need on where to level) on what zones to exp in at what levels. Go there, and sit your happy arse down till you ding. Don't waste time at a camp when mobs start turning green. Simply move on to the next area. Focus your camps on killing white cons or higher. Find a decent group and spend some time. nuff said.

ok all this talk of cheating and duping I can barely afford spells in the bazaar anymore because of all these lil cheaters out there.I have seen everlasting breath sell at 10k when fishbone earing sells for like 3k. it gets to where you feel you have to cheat cause all other peeps do it. but that is why the cycle continues. you will see peeps say that it isn't the cheating that inflates the prices, but greedy people that make it so you have to to buy their stuff, but 9 times out of 10 I can camp the item anyway and if I can't then me with my guild can. if you didn't buy things at outragiouse prices then they would learn that they can't make the plat they thought they could. honestly fungi tunic selling regularly for 70+k anbd its a twink item for lvl 1-54 unles your a shaman in which case all the way until you are raiding better items

This way of getting peoples log-in names and passwords is the most GUARENTEED method of doing so. My friends and i have done it so much, theres not one non-nodrop item we havent gotten and its the simplest thing in the world to do.. HERE WE GO!!!

First of all, this is how it works:
Verant has a email account that no person sees and has simply forgotten about. The server replies to you based on the information you give them. They programmed this server to give your password back if you lost it. BUT they need your password to give you your password?!?!?!?! doesnt make sense does it? They didnt think so either and couldnt figure out a way to help anyone who forgot their password but by phone. They'd need your credit card info bla..bla..bla.... So they just left the server on waaaaaaaaay in the back behind the soda machines (J/K im not psychic) ONE HUGE CATCH THEY MISSED!!!! (Thank you Verant!!) If you type in your info and put someone elses Log-in name it will give you their Password!!!!!STUPID VERANT!!! but shhhh dont tell em...

You are a bunch of morons,( people who think that everquest should not be HACKED ) because if you are paying every month to play this game then why should'nt you be able to do whatever you want. This includes everything from swearing in the game to Hacking it. I first played everquest on the ps2 and it was fun for a while until they put a XP cap, meaning that if you are at a certain level you could only get a certain amount of XP. They did this so nobody could power level you. Well now you have to play this game all day to get leveled up. This sucks @$$ because I am one of those people who has a life other then Everquest, so i dont play this game all day. Anyways who ever made up these stupid rules like... no hacking, Xp cap, no swearing is a F****** Jerkoff.

Hi! I was just introduced to EQ about a month ago. I go to boarding school so I can only play on the weekends =(. But, I love the game. I bought the Platinum version, and my mom is getting a subscription soon bacuse my free one expired =(. Yo, just go to macroquest2.com and hack away! Want warp hacks? You need winhack2 to find which offsets are for warping (warp should be your easiest offset to find as it is practically the FUNCTION NAME). There's a good tutorial on writing your own plugins for everquest on the macroquest2 page.

There is ways to hack EQ and there is ways to fool the packets(in game). If you really want to hack EQ well I advise getting linux box learn about sniffing packets and editing them and read up on SoE computers secruity, and what they look for in packets say like what sets of an alarm so to speak. Serouisly what made me think about this part was you have lets say 5% of the world playing this game you really think there secruity is that tight that have a GM looking at everything when some one finds a glitch in that game. As for in game expliots there is tons of them. I myself box alot of characters and have found in doing so there is some nice little and some very nasty little expliots in that game. They are there just takes some one w/ skill, alot of patients, acouple 2 liters of mountain dew, and no g/f to figure out. As for buying your characters, why the hell would you buy somethign that cost $500+ for a damn game.

I've read through a bunch of these, and it's just too funny. Most of the posts are in improper english for one. Secondly, it's almost impossible to "hack" EQ for platinum, levels, anything. 95% of the gameplay is serverside now. Back a long time ago, there was an offset hack to make a banker appear on the boat in OOT. Since he wasn't a land banker, he still had access to your bank, but when you had withdrawn money, it didn't deduct from your normal bank. You could grab all of your money, gate to a normal bank, head back to OOT and repeat. It didn't take long for this to get fixed, but it was funny while it lasted. There was a bug back in the day also, if you were charmed in a duel and a pet killed you, you would leave a corpse, but appear at bind with all of your armor. Your corpse would still have your armor, so it was a complete armor dupe. As for hacking... it's pointless. If you're slick, you might be able to pull off the run speed hack still, but that's kind of useless. The only thing you can do to gain an unfair advantage is to use some sort of packet sniffing software like MQ2. Thankfully it takes some brains for someone to run MQ2 because you need to compile it - the binary is not available for download. Good way to keep the slow and uneducated away and to keep some of the loud mouths from running amock blabbing about what they are doing. The chances of you getting banned now for anything now are quite slim. If you want to, you could curse up a storm in public channels now and there's a good chance at most you will get a warning.
So, as a recap...
1) Stop asking for Platinum, Level, or Item hacks - they don't exist.
2) It may still be possible to cheat spell durations, but that's probably long gone now
3) If you want to enjoy the game, you won't cheat. It's hard to enjoy it now that WoW and EQ2 stole most of the players, but, to each his own.
4) If you need plat that bad, shell out some real cash and buy it from IGE
5) If you're frustrated with leveling, buy an account from playerauctions.com
On a side note, if you don't use Firefox, start using it, IE is obsolete. Other than that, have fun looking for non-existant cheats, the most you'll find are bugs. There's a good chance those bugs are old and fixed. Have fun!

There are a number of "hacks" for Eq...you just have to know what ur doing and where to look...

Macroquest - is probably the worst and most well known hacking program...if you are asking for a sure way to get caught use it. As said earlier before, Verant has all the information on THEIR records. Once you start warping and zoning all over the place, you will be noticed.

P.S. If you are going to use any of these "hack" programs, all it takes is one mistake, one zone with it on, to ruin your day.

As for duping plat, there was a glitch in which you could change your gold into plat and also a glitch where you could dupe plat with a bazaar glitch, but all of these have been fixed by Verant...I'm not saying there still is no way to dupe plat, atleast that I know of.

Hacking Eq is a bitch and shouldn't be done....but on that note Eq is far from perfect. Meaning, find the glitches. Hacking will get you banned and even sued yet if you find glitches Verant really cant do shit to you, unless your screwing with other players,.

Here is just one "glitch" that I know of...
Transfering No-Drop Items Between Your Character....Must be on the same account though.

First;

Have one bag in your shared bank empty

Fill up the your inventory slots with bags, except for the bottom right slot.

Second;

Go to Shadowhaven, or any potions vendor (Shadowhaven is the most convienent though) and purchase 2-3 "CRIMSON POTIONS" (or any INSTANT potion) these are about 10-15pp a piece.

Third;

Head to any of the Bazaar Bankers (or any other banker, just using baz because of Shadowhaven).

Fourth;

Put ONE Crimson Potion in your bottom right inventory slot, that should be empty, and have the Item you wish to transfer on your cursor.

Fifth:

Right click on the potion to drink it and AS SOON as you right click on the potion LEFT CLICK to switch the potion with your item.

This may take a few trys to perfect, and if done correctly the item will transform into the potion.

Sixth;

THIS STEP MUST NOT BE SKIPPED

Put the potion back into your empty inventory slot and right click on it a few times.

Seventh;

Now talk to the banker and put the potion into your Empty Bag in the shared bank.

Eight;

All that is left to do now is log on to your other character, ON THE SAME ACCOUNT, and check the shared bank. The original item will be there and once you take it out ot the bank it will act like anyother no drop item.

P.S. If the item disappears from the shared bank or is not there DO NOT FRET the item will be on the cursor or in the inventory of the original character.

...Also dont go running around at lvl 1 with your epics...thats just asking for trouble...

I have heard of ways to dupe your weapons through a disarm glitch but I have never tried it.

It required you to have all your slots full and an item on your cursor, then some rogue or monk disarms you. Then APPARENTLY you should have 2 weapons...if this was real it is probably fixed by now.

As for lvling, I lvled my twink ranger from 1 to 51 in two days through pling with my 65 enchanter. Without pling it would have took me probably a few months...but 4 years and still not 15+ is out of this world.

Eq has had YEARS to perfect and tweak its self. If you are really looking for hacks and crap for Eq good luck. Any of the newer mmorpg's you will see bots, exploits, hacks, server crashes, etc...a prime example is Lineage 2 "Asian bots everywhere lol". Eq and Verant have had the time to fix glitches and stop hacks, this is called experience, while these newer games L2, WoW, and so on are plauged by these problems. If your looking for a good gameplay experience stick to Eq for the time being...give the others a year or two for expansions and patches.

Lol all of you thats funny I know of a glitch to get easy XP...

Have a high lvl friend pull a high lvl mob next to a zone line with you in the group. Then have him beat it down to really low HP till somewhere around 2% or so. Then have him zone out and when hes zoned you attack and try and kill the mob. When you kill it you SHOULD get the xp even if the high lvl is in your group.

Hope all you low lvl that cant get past 15 in 4 month helps you....sad omg so sad.

Couple of quick points:

With each expansion (and many times with a new patch), new bugs get introduced into Everquest which can be exploited (usually for a short time). Everquest code is just one big unwieldy mess right now.
Second, MQ2 and its plugins can be extremely powerful in the right hands. However, keep in mind that the more powerful the exploit is the more likely you will get banned. Tons of people use MQ2 daily without getting caught. However, if you start doing nasty stuff like warp, levitate in non levi zones, or infamous ghost, you will get Banned eventually.

Lastly, there was a way to change secret question for a while which took advantage of the lousy security on Sony webpages, but appears it has been fixed now. Leave comment if you want to hear more how it worked.

Finally,IGE is not the only player in town for plat and characters, althought they do own a lot of sites including Playerauctions with its high fees.
Imho, Bidera Auctions is a better place to auction MMORPG game items than PA, because you can get a free listing membership into Bidera site for pretty much forever, if you agree to put up something like 50 auctions. Of course you do have to be 18, but then I think pretty much all auction sites require that.

OK check it out, Back in the day there was 1 huge Dupe method. There used to be a bugged banker that you could changeyour plat into gold.. then when you tried to put it back in the plat slot it would go to the number of Plat.. so 100gold would be 100 plat. The second is with hex editing, Or packet filtering. But after you do that you will have to trade the amount of plat to someone else back and forth about 50 times to lose the log on it. Kinda like Perming on Diablo 2. As for how to hack the platinum. You will most likely never find out unless you learn on your own. As noone nor myself is willing to give out the methods for free.

A friend of mine recently wrote a great brute force program that can hack almost any email account that uses a html form to login. Download it from one of these links, then it's simple to use, just run it then fill in the account, it will automatically detect what email service it uses and where to login, then all you have to do is click the "go" button. This post is off the scope of the original discussion. Place it as you see fit.

I know the following is an old-school low-tek method of finding passwords of someones' accounts and whatnot, but it's so much fun.

If you have physical access to any machine your target uses, and the machine is privately accessible by you at any given time - Install a "key logger".
If you are new to electronic espionage, then you WILL need to do a bit of research of your own to learn how to properly implement and possibly hide - (if it's not an advaned keylogger), the program from the target or a slacking systems administrator. Especially if it's a public computer.
Later, you'll be doing some filtering/pattern searching in output files for keystrokes entered into input boxes. (dependant on the complexity of the keyloggers programming and output formats)

Also, try a bit of social engineering. The best hack of all is the ability to warp ones will to your own. If you want someones password/s, given the correct circumstances, you can simply ask for them without suspicion of treachery.
Don't make a big deal of anything. In my own opinion, if you want a "friends" password anyways; you are the one that is the bastard.

These techniques are already well documented all over the internet from a plethora of various different types of sites. I am just posting here, under alias, to inform those who are even more lazier than I am for writing this in such short detail.

FYI You CAN hack EQ. Not for money or equip exactly, but you can use it to warp you around the zone or even better above a bossmob where you can hit him but he cant hit you. WOohoo, long ass fight but you can take the biggest baddies down solo and keep the loots to yourself.

"How the crap do you do that?" you say? Well I'm not gunna pass that on. "Why not you jerk?" you ask? Well... In the early days of the EQ my friends and I descovered a method of duping equip and plat. We ruined the economy of our server pretty much perminantly, and got a few of the accounts banned in the process(they started ID'ing each plat for tracking, duplicate id's would be removed from the system database). I almost feel bad because we nearly ruined the play experiance for some of the other people out there.
You CAN get a character to 50 within just a couple days, it's not difficult but yes, it is time consuming, and does take knowing where to go and how to do it, and playing a very solo friendly class is usefull too.

To summerize:
Q) Can I make infinite money/health/etc?
A) No. Tho there may still be a way to dupe out there good luck. The items will be removed very quickly.

Q) Can I get increased speed/warping?
A) Yes, last time I checked the software was still available to do this, but it is incredibly difficult to install and use, if you don't have any programming experiance, good luck.

Q) Can you tell me how to lvl to 50 in just a couple days?
A) There's pleanty of good class/lvling guides out there on the net, so there's no reason for me to simply regurgitate this info, do a google search for the love of God.

Q) If I have like 7 lvl 70's does that make me cool?
A) No but if you sold your account and used the money to buy everyone booze and prostitutes I bet you would make some progress.

Q) Why don't I ever see you online?
A) Because World of Warcraft is a lot more fun.

Q) Passwords are available by contacting SOE, if you're not the original owner of the account or you lied about your date of birth or something then I wish you the best.

(i only play the game about 1-2 times a week and for about 3hrs a day) for the ones that say they get their characters to lvl 62 in 5 days or less are full of shit unless u are playing all day 24hrs a day!! get a job. I just returned to everquest 9 months ago, Lvl 66 ranger, ranked #9 on server by level. My wife just started playing 8 months ago and has a 57 paladin, I have #2 ranking for rangers on my entire server in pvp.

fellas, ive played eqol for about 4 years, my highest lvl char is a 54 rogue...i play about 3 hours a week. im not twinked, however, i guarentee that there isnt another untwinked lvl 54 in the game that can best me...why?...i soloed him( yup, a rog) all the way to my current lvl....now you know why it took so long to reach lvl 54. i kill giants to get plat. i go on the quests to get my items. i play the game...
you want an example of what the hacking has done to the game?...look at the bazaar....i used to be able to buy sow potions for about 7pp each....look at the cost of em now....you can devid the price for just about anything there by 3 and thats how much it was only 2 years ago.
i dont mind someone getting into the game and makeing his char better, by what ever means, but please...be carefull with what you do..youll ruin the game for the rest of us and for the future players.
my brother in law baught plat and items on line, twinked his beastlord out and is now lvl 60, but you know what....i kick his ass in duels...he doesnt have the power to stand up to someone who truely knows how to play thier char.
all i can recomend is that you learn your char play hard, and if you need alittle help, get it, but dont go hog wild with it just because you can...then youll lose it, or we all will.

I just happend upon this today when I was looking for fun glitches and good areas to lvl up in. For one, if you can not get past lvl 14 in 4 years, you should either quit the game or pay more attention to it. Second, I got to lvl 14 in 5 hours on my first time ever playing this game (yesterday), thus, I am a BIG NEWB that KNOWS how to play a game. Third, you can get to lvl 65 in 3 days, it's called power lvling (look into it). Lastly, any of you guys know any fun glitches and good lvling areas for a (at this current time) lvl 14 Dwrave Warrior.

For those of you trying to hack EverQuest and gain levels/platinum...

Killing various enemies for experience is the object of the game. Plat is used for primarily gear, which is also a MAJOR part of the game. You quest it. You kill the mobs that give you exp. It's really quite simple. So stop your fucking whining and if you don't like farming platinum or killing mobs, then you're obviously playing the wrong game. Go play some Pong and gtfo EverQuest. It's dumbasses like you that ruin the game for those that enjoy it.

First of all, this is how it works:
Verant has a email account that no person sees and has simply forgotten about. The server replies to you based on the information you give them. They programmed this server to give your password back if you lost it. BUT they need your password to give you your password?!?!?!?! doesnt make sense does it? They didnt think so either and couldnt figure out a way to help anyone who forgot their password but by phone. They'd need your credit card info bla..bla..bla.... So they just left the server on waaaaaaaaay in the back behind the soda machines (J/K im not psychic) ONE HUGE CATCH THEY MISSED!!!! (Thank you Verant!!) If you type in your info and put someone elses Log-in name it will give you their Password!!!!!STUPID VERANT!!! but shhhh dont tell em...
