What's your favorite web site by and for a startup? Who's done a great job presenting themselves when there are only five people in the company and one of them is a cat? I have some friends more or less in that situation who are looking for ideas and lessons... Posted

I wish I could say my website is good, but my blainehilton.com address is really pretty pathitic. As a website designer I should have a great website, but its like the shoemaker that can't afford shoes for his children. I simply have not had a chance to make a "good" site, although the one I have will do for now and is fairly professional.
If you want a place to talk to small business people check out www.ideacafe.com and go to the their forums.

I'd say that my favourite website in this gendre has got to be the always colourful and insightful startup that does as the Google gurus say you should do, get high rankings by ensuring your content is bookmarkable. The site is http://www.hyperorg.com/

I think Ludicorp is a pretty together start-up. I spent a couple of months playing their Game Neverending while they were testing the prototype. They have a good concept and they seem to be taking the right approach to building it.
They're also offering internships if you'd like to volunteer some time in exchange for experience.

I am filming a Native American documentary. All my expences are out of pocket. I have run out of funds and need help. I have excellent equipment and the time and energy to make an important filmed document. If a bunch of people snet me as little as a 'buck' I would be able to continue, or even finish the film. The following statement is not part of the film, but I hope it is worth at least a smile. Original natives skinned deer to make their own clothes, and a white guy once asked a native how much he wanted for the skin. The native sold it to him for a dollar, and that is how it got the name "Buckskin".
