Not that this comment relates in any way to what is being discussed here, but I, Miles the Teenage Blogger, in the electronic flesh, just wanted to take this opportunity to defend my blog and others like it from the rapier wit of one reader who took the liberty of attacking such online literature. (I'm a teenager; I'm allowed one sarcastic remark per paragraph). (Indulge me). Perhaps it is only in my deluded, addled, juvenile brain that this holds true, but it seems as though those who dismiss the outpourings of teenage emotions as "banal monologues" are those who miss incredible insight into the lives and hopes of the next generation. Teenage blogs may be boring to you- silly, quite possibly. If you find something aesthetically or superficially displeasing about them, that is perfectly acceptable. But do not venture to disregard these writings as meaningless, randomly assembled words, because they have a face and a purpose that is no less valid than any of you possess- and one that deserves equal respect.
