Has anyone heard about the possibility of John McCain and Howard Dean \being on the same presidential ticket? This is what I got the other day via email.
Dean - McCain Team up for 2004 Race.
Incredible - team - Sure Win over Bush.

True healing of the Country - Real Bipartisanship Hands across the aisle (McCain-Feingold)
Both are Party Mavericks - McCain as Veep gets to keep Senate Vote for AZ
Fiscal Realism - No Special Interests - McCain on Bill Moyers - on the Pentagon budget gone wild.
Carrys the southwest and Moderates - ??? Dean/McCain 2004
I believe John McCain is setting himself up to run in 2008. This is the way I see it. First we assume Bush will win reelection. Presently he is ahead of Kerry by 10 points.
There are two basic possibilities in 2008. The economy will either be strong or it will not. If the economy is booming McCain runs on the republican ticket. (Cheney is too old, has health problems and is not very popular). If the economy is terrible....McCain won't run as a republican because he'd loose so instead he runs as an independent.
Either way McCain will be the president in 2008. There isn't anyone else with such a broad appeal.
