I don't think you mean "part." "Woof" can be fraught with meaning; it can stand for something, like a signifier stands for the signified. I would rule out any symbolic meaning, however, as metaphor is beyond their ken.

A very great man once said, "Some people can rob you with a fountain pen." It don't take too long ta figure out, just a-what he was a-talking a-bout.

they both work for me,much different meanings though. the second one might be more, um, meaningful. wish i could talk smart like you guys.

I think they work well as a unit. Together they tale the sad story of learned behaviour and the cycle of verbal abuse.

Also they are very funny. If I had to choose one I would choose the one with the dog and the man.

It leads the reader into imagining the type of person who would
a) wear a suit and tie
b) woof at a dog and expect that woof to be followed up on
c) chastise the dog for not following it up

the guy reminds me of the main character from American Psycho. I'd like to see some of the other stuff he gets up to.

Also the clip art cartoon stuff brings to mind
