...After all, both were born in the 20th Century. I'm just trying to get into next year's round up of liberal hate speech. Man, he has a thin skin! Posted

Without wishing to be pedantic, Hitler was born on 20th April, 1889 - which means he was born in the Nineteenth Century.

Excellent! Now we know that Jeff Jacoby is different from Hitler at least in having been born in a different century.
I think this additional comment increase the chances of my making it onto his 2004 list. I'm excited!
(And a big D'oh to me. D'oh!)

Very funny to point out the fact on Hitler . . . I was gonna comment in the same thing but it looks like ya beat me to the punch. Anyhow - a slight misnomer when compared to the overall meaning behind the analogy!

I think Godwin's law applies. A comparison to Hitler automatically loses the argument.

PS: When I said this was a cool site, of course I also meant this site, but I really meant the link--

Godwins law? Not sure I am familiar with it . . . any chance that you are still watching this post it would be great for ya to post with some additional info.

Godwin's Law: "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." But note: "However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful. "

That's a load. There are a lot of people who were just like Hitler. Some just acted on a smaller or larger scale. i.e. Benito Mussolini smaller, Joseph Stalin far large.
Hitler vs Stalin
6million killed 54 million killed
