just a tad exaggerated i'd say, but yea, bush and co. have made a mess of things over on the other side of the world (not to mention here).

Alas, and I would-a thought you'd know this already, Dr. Weinberger:
War is torture.
Soon as you get ole Bin and the rest to sign up on your side, I'm right there with ya!

Americans Against Denial
That might be a more inclusive, though small, movement.

David,
Chill. Half of Americans believe in the war, and that is torture, see? They believe Iraq is a population of enemies, and in war you fick with your enemy any way you can, because they would fick you, too. You won't find a whole lot of outrage here if it wasn't there to begin with about the war in the beginning. The "torture" was policy, and you know military superiors initiated it. I'm surprised that you're surprised. It is all part of psy-ops by a twisted administration's view of the world, and half the american people are ok with it, some are disturbed, but the angry (us) are a small minority here. Nothing on this scale could possibly have happened in our military without consent from above. It stems from our "little dick, no gism"/"Clinton is a bad man" humiliation that was expressed from day one.

PS: and all the numbnuts who like to believe that they're all so self-righteous about Bin Laden, like also to conveniently forget that it was U.S. foreign policy that created him in the first place. What a smokin pile a...

It's interesting seeing "you become what you hate" happening right in front of our eyes with Bush and his cronies. Interesting in the "this is obscene beyond the worlds" way, that is.
I'm hoping (though not betting) that this might bring the reality of US-funded or supported torture (e.g. School of the Americas) into the spotlight as well.
