They Work For You lets you see everything your MP has said since 2001. You can also search by topic, with space to add your own comments. (Here are two examples from Perfect.co.uk, as well as The Guardian's coverage.) . Waaaay cool. We need this here in the Colonies. Posted

There's also an app or web service that (I think) has been under the radar for a couple of years now in the States called Minutes in Motion (http://www.minutesnmotion.com/) ...
...that searches all public documents very rapidly. It originally came out of British Columbia because the guy who built it got annoyed at his local municipality for obfuscating. He went and looked up the info that he needed, and realized that it could often take months if not years to comb through everything.
So off he went ... I don't know how well it's taken root, but I'm guessing that in the current environment it met with as many obstacles as could be mustered.
