Pray for Reason

Possibly because of the "Pray for Cynicism" banner adorning the bottom of my blog, Mark Dionne sends along a link to Pray for Reason, a site that wants us to win the war of prayers against those who are praying for Bush's reelection. (More here...)

Or better yet, stop praying AND stop voting and just do something worthwhile and productive, like play ball with some friends, write a really cool script, phone a friend you have not talked to in ages, engage in some random act of kindness, catch up on some paperwork... do ANYTHING other than waste too much time deluding yourself it makes that much difference whether right-statists or left-statists get to loot your money 'for your own good'.
