Cleaning directions

A guy on a mailing list sent this around saying that it came from a friend of a friend of an n degree friend. It's supposedly the clothing label from a small American company that sells its product in France.

French laundry care label

Translation:

Wash with warm water.
Use mild soap.
Dry flat.
Do not use bleach.
Do not dry in the dryer.
Do not iron.
We are sorry that
Our President is an idiot.
We did not vote for him.

That is freaking hilarious! I used to work in the printing of garments industry, and the labels for care sometimes are stupid...but that tag make for a great statement!

It's actually not from clothing, but rather from luggage. The company with this label is Tom Bihn, makers of backpacks and laptop bags. You can find their explanation of it at http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/CTGY/CARELABEL. This particular photo of one of the labels appears to be taken from the Snopes Urban Legends page at http://www.snopes.com/business/hidden/tombihn.asp. I assume the French is on there because they sell in Canada as well.
