Joe Who?

I'm guessing that Avery is not a Canadian company.

Otherwise, it wouldn't use "Joe Clark" as the stand-in name on its name-label package, the equivalent of using "Gerry Ford" in the US.

Joe Clark was Prime Minister of Canada for a little over 15 minutes (okay, maybe a little longer) before he lost a non-confidence motion. He is typically referred to as "Joe Who" by Canadians anyway.

So, Joe Clark is thought by many Canadians to be one of our most authentic political voices in the last 20 years. Are there Americans who think that about Gerry Ford?
