Wow, this is great. My shirts are always laying around on things in disarray. After watching this 3 second video just a few times, and then practicing only twice, I got it. It's a breeze. In less than 2 minutes all of my shirts were folded and put away. :)

David, this is great. I have already found 20 tasks which are way too complicated that I am going to suggest people make "HowToFoldAShirt" videos for. Best way I've seen yet to get the pont across!!

I'm not sure whether to take this as an insult, but even after reading it it still took 60 seconds to fold it.:) Maybe I should stick a to a better artform, like peeling static laden socks from the deep folds of other dryer items

Ah, folding t-shirt has arived here ;o)

From the beginning I found it much easier to set the right hand and from there adjust the left hand - if the right hand is correct, left hand can just be changed a little bit.

I finally got around to learning this, and I have one tip for future folders. I read this: "Find the centerpoint on the far side and pinch it with your left hand, about two inches in from the far edge." Perhaps it's poor reader comprehension, but I had fingers behind the shirt and thumb in front of the shirt. The right way to do it is to have fingers and thumb pinching the front of the shirt.

Saw Martha Stewart teach Donald Trump how to fold a tee shirt (same method) on her new "apprentice" program yesterday (9/21/05) on TV.

This works pretty well for other jersey shirts such as knitted golf shirts (with collars).

Need a similar method for folding long-sleeve shirts.

I keep a copy of the video on my HDD. the instructions could be improved:

1.lay out flat, sideways, collar away from your dominant hand
2.on far side of shirt, draw an imaginary line from the far side collar straight across to the "bottom" of the shirt.
3.with your dominant hand, about 1 inch "below" the middle of the imaginary line, pinch the front and back of the shirt, and hold.
4.with your other, non-dominant hand, pinch the collar-end of the imaginary line, and bring the collar across (or "down") to the other end of the imaginary line.
5.with the other, non-dominant hand, grip both ends of the imaginary line.
6.untwist you arms. and shake the shirt a little to get the wrinkles out (just look at it for a couple of minutes once you do this, if you don't understand immediately what you have in your hands. this is where the "magic" has to happen in your head)
7.lay the bottom (or free "side") down, with the side facing you face down. fold across at the other side of the collar

i think the instuctions with the collar shirt is to hard to grasp and i cant fold shirts if i dont no how to read the freakin instructions so can u plz send another one that is easier to read?
