No, no, the one-word which applies to Trippi is not "conversations", but DONATIONS!
Really. He didn't do anything at all innovative in "conversation". He does rightly deserve credit for being the pioneer in modernizing "donation".

Is it possible that the Democrats attracted the people who wanted conversation, and the Republicans those who wanted to be given a message? The phrase, "Now the adults are in charge," which supporters would use even to justify things like Bush's hermetically sealed campaign rallies, are another suggestion that many drawn to the Republican side were looking for direction.
