I just paid $6.95 for a day of wifi access here in the Newark Airport. Nobody except Tom Hanks uses a full day of airport wifi access, do they? I wish I could sell off my unused hours. Someone want to set up a little airport market for buying and selling unusued capacity? Posted

Interesting idea - only two potential problems:
1) The terms of service: I've never read the terms of service on these Wi-Fi services, but I'm willing to bet they have clauses explicitly forbidding the transfer of usernames, passwords, etc.
2) MAC address binding: I'm not sure how smart these services are - do they capture your network adapter's MAC address the first time you login (or at the time of payment)? If so, it may not be possible to "resell" your access after you've logged into the service the first time.
Thoughts?

Better yet -- if you don't use up your day worth of access, next time you are at that airport you can continue using it.

Actually Tom Hanks is a well-known cheapskate who would never let himself get ripped off like that.
