I've build those into an animation that makes me gasp each time I see it.

Amazing photographs depicting the awesome power of nature, it has occurred to me in donating to the tsunami relief fund through visa that visa gets a percentage of my donation as a transaction fee, not that I begrudge them making $24 off of me but then I thought, jesus, if 100 million north americans donate similarly through visa and mastercard they are making a windfall profit off of this disaster and that strikes me as not right. This is a chance for Visa and the rest to do the right thing and not charge a transaction fee on donations to relief organizations if not, all I can say is that they are greedy bastards.

It appears as though some american college student has taken some of the images provided by Digital Globe and has created some similarly hi-res composite color and infrared images which in many ways even more clearly show the level of devastation, because you can barely see what used to be there as compared to what is there now.

You can see those images at http://www.geocities.com/the_physics_guy/index.html

Feel Free to pass on this link to those interested.
