I used my Chanukah money from my in-laws (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) to buy a watch on eBay that I've been admiring for a couple of years. It's a Citizen Eco-Drive — the Eco means it runs on light, thus saving .0000000000000000005 kilowatts per year for the children of Mother Earth — and I like it, except for the instructions. Often watch instructions fail because they're too brief. These fail because, although they are full, they are incomprehensible. Here's an example, under the subhead "O-Position Correction of Function Hand and Date Wheel":
The whole thing is like that. Page after page. We need a Watch Setting Wiki where our civilization can pitch in and, using our combined brainpower, create understandable instructions for setting our watches. [Technorati tags: watches eco-drive] Posted

Not just watch-setting, but any type of howto. There's been some discussion at Wikipedia if it should allow procedural knowledge: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How-to

Great idea, Instructions you can't lose unless you lose the internet. It should also have the ability to download to your phone.

Actually, I would argue that we need watches that are easy to set, and not a wiki to share how to set them. Must this groovy watch be so obtuse? Certainly not.

does anyone have instruction manual how to use sector expander 135

I have had my Sector ADV 5000 since 2002 and I still can't work it properly. Same problem - wrong manual with the watch. The Sector website is useless I live in Australia so there is no customer support sector. I would be interested in getting in contact with someone who may be able to pick up a manual for me.

I got the WR30M at a boot sale too, but i have no idea what to do- i THINK i have turned the alarm off, but according to the watch its Christmas- and what does it mean when it says the date, the month then P? I held down the alarm button then held down the date button and it beeped a lot, but the alarm symbol went away! Anyone know what the circle in the top right hand corner does? In my old, stolen watch (God i miss that watch... such simple instructions- and when i say stolen i mean it was stolen from me)it was the seconds counter, but on this one it making pretty but random patterns, i can't see any sense in it at all! Please give some advice on changing the date and maybe what the circle thingy does?
P.S So if i follow the first Wiki link, will it take me to watch instructions, or do i actually have to add them?
