Quicktime without the cruft

Applehas turned the default download of Quicktime into a full download of iTunes. If you want to get Quicktime and only Quicktime, go here. (And when you install it, carefully check the default MIME types Quicktime takes over.)

Rup3rt: I attempted to obtain the QuicktimeAlternative to avoid the gigabytes of pain, but my ie could not find the site that the link is assoc with. Please help, because I really would love to have something that plays Quicktime movies, without it being from Apple. Thanks for the help
