Oliver Stone (continued)

James Wolcott spanks me for saying Oliver Stone is the worst major director around. Easy for him to say: He didn't sit through Alexander.

James doesn't allow comments on his site, so I've replied by appending to my original post. [Tags: JamesWolcott OliverStone]

I would like an Oliver Stone's movie about media freedom in Italy. Did you follow the latest on the subject? Please, take a look: I'm reporting about it. It is a problem for democracy... And as usual - given that we are speaking about Italy - it is a dramatically ridiculous one...

Dear Oliver,

I contact you by the only means I can to express an idea for a new film on the End Times. A story about humanity, about history, about the ancient civilization of the Mayas, about TIME, about calendars, about ART, about the passion of ONE MAN.

Its is about a planetary vision of our whole existence, about the truth and lies we as a whole have believed in. About our past, present and future as one eternal thought displayed in a frenzy of images, voices, prophecies and human desire as only YOU can express.

This will be your last movie, for all the reasons you can imagine. I can’t think of anyone else to tell this story. Although I am very fond of the works of Martin Scorsese, David Lynch, Robert Altman, Quentin Tarantino and many others who are dead and alive, your vision on the human SELF is the best portrayed for infinite reasons, maybe especially because of your internal struggle which was dealt so beautifully in Alexander.

I came to this idea when I heard that the staff of Mel Gibson was here in Cancún for a casting of native people for his new movie Apocaliptus (or something like that). I am not big on conspiracy theories but, as noticed in the last few years, the Classic Maya have given us a lot to think about and to have Mr. Gibson as the messenger gives me the creeps. So who better than you to come to the rescue , just kidding (or am I?).

Since I was born I have been a seeker, in your ART I have found much. You are a rewriter of history, the principle character of the greatest information medium in this destructive civilization. The power you hold is tremendous, well now it is the TIME to make your debut-finale at this end-start of the STORY OF HISTORY.

Ground breaking scientific discoveries, stories of ancient civilizations, War and World Peace, ART, visions of other dimensions, the MAYAN CALENDAR, and the passion of ONE MAN.

In “The DOORS” you pictured the first contact with the native wisdom as the occidental civilization. The 60’s is a prophetic period and the start of the last 52 years period of the Mayan Long Count – 2012. Not long after, the contemporary mayan tribes have opened up to show us the vision of the world.

Let’s “Make the Myths”, the objective-subjective reality. The essence of TIME. The travelling through the Fractals of Time. The ART form of the Universe, TIME is ART. Yes… and what else? Your ability to choose… EVOLUTION. CALENDAR REFORM. WORLD PEACE MOEVEMENT. SYNCRONICITY. HUMAN AWAKENING.

The journey of Jose Arguelles through his visions and the work he has done over the world.

There is no better picture for you to make. There is no better filmmaker to do this but you.
