The idea is that on August 31, everyone who signs up will recommend 5 new blogs, preferably from a different culture or at least a different point of view, or at least using different fonts... [Tag: blogday]

Dave, I love this idea. Count me in. I think it's also a cool exercise for a company that may not be that blog-savvy to do on their own. Just think... what if they asked all employees to find and submit 5 or 10 blogs that they like to read because they find them interesting and relevant to their jobs and/or lives? You'd get an instant a-ha moment on the power of the blogosphere.
