You know those 3D pictures you have to go cross-eyed to see? Here are some short 3D movie clips of the same sort. To get the illusion, start off with a still from the AVI and get it to go all 3D on you. Then hit the play button. (If you can't get them to pop into 3D, poke around on the Web for instructions. I don't know what to tell you.) Posted

You actually have to diverge your eyes, not cross them. I'm physically incapable of crossing my eyes but a champ at diverging. I don't know how I'd instruct someone else to do it, but I'd say in general, actually *relaxing* the eyes helps.

You have look at a point beyond the thing you are looking at. If you try to look at the reflection of yourself on the monitor screen then focus on the screen without changing the convergence point of your eyes. you might have some success...
