Undoubtedly because everything I brought with me, including the inside of a toothpaste tube, got soaked last night as I walked the few blocks from the train station to the Syndicate conference, I woke up this morning with a punny headline in my freshly-rinsed brain. Seems a certain Cluetrain author left his Palm Pilot at a Pret a Manger on 42nd Street, just off Lex. He was on his way to a conference to present his talk entitled, "I never meta data I didn't like."
It just so happens this device was found to contain the user IDs and passwords for a number of "progressive" online sites. These sites were deluged with traffic after the PDA's contents were Slashdotted.

Latin heart throb Enrique "Mas Macho" Cojones, ex-lead singer of the Latin Rap group "Machina" was rushed to the hospital today after a a sleding while vacationing.
Enrique had slipped off his "luge", a small sled, and hit a retaining wall and was impaled upon the sled. A team of doctors expect to remove the device surgically from the Ex Machina singer later today.
