Dropping Knowledge

DroppingKnowledge.org is trying to create a "blogstorm" to support what seems like a well-intentioned project. The site is trying to collect 100,000 important questions facing the species. Then, on Sept. 9, 113 "scientists, social entrepreneurs, philosophers, writers, artists and activists from around the world" will get together to talk about 100 of them.

If they make progress, great. If they focus attention on important issues, great. But wouldn't it be wonderful if, instead of relying on 113 experts sitting around a table, there were some medium by which the people of the world themselves — at least the ones with a Net connection — could talk about for themselves, over the long term? If only we had such a medium...if only... [Tags: droppingknowledge]

FYI - The dropping knowledge roundtable event is just the start to seed would is hoped to turn into a worldwide forum over the long term. Click on "Living Library" for more on that (though that message really doesn't come through from the text there).

additionally- the question campaign.."what's your question" that is illiciting thousands of entries- will be democratically rated so that the questions that are asked at the table will essentially be from a universal voice-
and most importantly- all the matierial recorded that day will be available free to anyone, even D. Weinberger, to use as he/she sees fit- copyleft!
my question? why the need to shoot holes in this complex and compelling effort?

All these efforts to improve the world will be in vain as long as the "global elite" exists (also known as "new world order") for they will continue to pursue their own agenda and sabotage any efforts to improve the world.
Therefore this truth needs to be exposed to everyone first, and the first step towards this truth is revealing the true perpetrators of 9/11.

I've been waiting to see if anyone connected to the realm of the paranormal, the phenomenon of remote veiwing or a long time activist in ufology would be invited. Apparently not (so far). May I suggest Dr. Steven Greer, author of DISCLOSURE and various other works. The inclusion of such people as Dr. Greer would give this "roundtable", "town meeting" or whatever a little more legitimacy in terms of inclusion of topics that people THE WORLD OVER are concerned with.

It seems that it may not be as pure as they've said, the dropping knowledge group has supposedly retained the exclusive right to use the films made of all those the volunteer participants for commercial purposes. That could be why it was funded by an insurance company.
