I did a phone-in (well, Skype-in) interview/conversation about journalism 'n' stuff with Steve Sloan's class at San Jose State University. Steve captured it and has posted it. It's 33:28 minutes long. And Arjo van der Gaag has posted four short (3 mins or less) videos of my talk about marketing at the MarktPlein conference in Maastricht (1 2 3 4). Thanks to Steve and Arjo. (And thanks for the ride, Arjo.) [Tags: marketing] Posted

Hit here accidentally look for blogs with stuff from the New York Times. Since the video clip got into the NYT I'd mention how there are still some newspapers out there where it's MUCH easier to access their news stories. I have the most luck accessing stories through Yahoo. If you type in the title or the partial title (put the phrase in quotes) of an article you were unable to access through Google, you can sometimes get through to the article using Yahoo. Also try to "refresh" the screen - the green arrows on the Internet Explorer tool bar. By reading the news on accessible online newspapers, you are also supporting that newspaper - making the advertisers pay. So the heck with the New York Times!
