The other day, "All Things Considered" ran a commentary of mine on the value of digital messiness. [Tags: npr everything_is_miscellaneous taxonomy folksonomy]

Nice commentary! Thanks for the comment on my blog today. Maybe the story of how I discovered your book will interest you:

I was at the bookstore the other day, lamenting on how I couldn't figure out where any of the books I wanted were located -- you can read about that here. Later on I started to wonder about other interdisciplinary books, and I did a search on Amazon.com for folksonomy (one of my favorite topics lately). Your book came up in the results, and I flipped through a bit on my most recent bookstore visit. I like that it's not as business-oriented as I had expected. Thanks for dedicating it to the librarians!

For the record, I found it in "New Hardback Non-Fiction," and I have no idea where it's going after that...

I was driving home from work and tuned in to NPR somewhere in the middle of your commentary. I knew it was you immediately -- not because I recognized your voice, but because I'd just finished your book.
