I don't know nothin' about Neuros products, but I like their open source approach, including a wiki and a feisty public stance against legislation that would hobble video recording equipment because Hollywood doesn't want us to record what we want. [Tags: drm digitalRights neuros marketing] Posted

Fabian-
To make a long story short, yes, our quality issues with the N1 and Neuros 2 have been solved. Live and learn.

It might help if I give you a short list of our devices:
We have a digital video recorder for the PSP and the iPod. It records directly from analog video sources (cable TV, DVR/PVR, DVD, VCR, Camcorder). That means access to free and legal content (thanks to the so called Analog-Hole big media companies and legislators are going after.)
We also have a Portable Media Player that does the same but also has a built-in 3.5" screen.
Last but not least, an MP3 player that has a line in recording option and unique features like digital FM broadcasting through any tuner.
We are developiong Open Source versions of all our devices. Our Stance on digital rights is in line with our philosophy: empowering our customers. They can and are encouraged to hack our products.
