Terry Heaton is the second person in a few days to sing the praises of Pandora, a service that helps you find music you didn't know about. (Gianluca Baccanico is the other who recommended it.) Sounds not just fun but important. I think I'll go take me a look-see... [Tags: pandora music terry_heaton gianluca_baccanico ] Posted

Cool website; thanks for the tip. A friend also pointed me to a similar site which has rich detail:
http://www.last.fm/
Enjoy!

Pandora is absolutely amazing and Last.fm is too (although Pandora makes it super simple to just plug in and discover...last.fm is good for the social part).
You will also absolutely love http://www.magnatune.com. Basically, it is a DRM free record label. Seriously. It's even more important than discovering music, it's saying 'eff you' to DRM. I'm hoping this commons-based music label kicks Sony/EMI/Virgin/etc. out of the running in the future.
