Given my difficulties with space, Portal (from Valve) sounds like exactly the sort of game that will leave me like a hound trying to untangle his leash. But, the web site vaguely associated with it is hilarious. It's like an Easter egg, but not hidden inside the application (which means it's mainly not like an Easter egg). PCGamer ran instructions for entering it:

If text games interest you, the IF Comp 2006 is on till the end of November. Even if you don't want to judge, that means a large batch of new games.

If you type HELP, if gives you a list of commands. PLAY is on the list, and if you type PLAY PORTAL it takes you to a youtube video that's been removed.
?? anyone know what video it tried to show you?

Try logging in as cjohnson, password tier3.

In one of the first breach rooms in portal, along with the rest of the writing on the wall is a login and password. CJohnson and Tier3. This will let you log in as administrator on the preceding website. This allows you access to one additional file called notes. Humorous commentary about aperture science follows.
type HELP for a full list of commands. I entered play portal, and it took me to youtube, but the video was taken down already.
