Slayage, please come home!

Slayage.tv, the Buffy scholarship site, is closed. Ack! There were tons of articles there. Perhaps the owners of it would like to move it to Wikia's OpenServing program where, if accepted, it'll be hosted for free? If you happen to know the Slayage folks, could you let them know about OpenServing? [Tags: buffy slayage openserving wikia ]

I don't know but I made a post asking the q on the fanthropology community, so hopefully someone there does.

Wikia already has a Buffyverse Wiki at buffy.wikia.com. I'm hoping the Slayer.tv community will join us there.

David, makd on LJ found out what happened - registration lapsed but will be restored in a couple days. makd noted that most of Slayage is available on archive.org for now, including the info about submitting articles.

Angela, the thing with Slayage is that it's an academic type journal, with review and everything, not a fan info site. So a wiki wouldn't be the right home for it... though many of the people in the communities probably already overlap. I am now really curious about OpenServing though.

Thanks for the info, Erica (and thanks to google for leading me here ;)). So glad it will be back. :)
