The funnybone of the observer

My wife and I have always found the Russell-Moore-Apple sketch from "BehindBeyond the Fringe" very funny, although we've failed to convince our 15 year old that we're right about that.

Here's an mp3 of the original performance so you can decide for yourself.

Beyond the Fringe, surely?

D'oh. I got it intersected with their follow-up, "Behind the Fridge."

I've always loved that sketch. Right up there with "Will that wind be so mighty ..." and "Not havin' the Latin for the judgin'" or, of course, the life viewed from a sardine can. Wow, all of those that you just brought back for me.

So do you still have the recording? Mine disappeared long ago in a household move plus switchover to CDs. (I still have my dad's 78s, but no 45s or LPs.)
