I just tried to post a comment to one of my own recent posts. It came back with the page that announces that the comment has been put into a moderation queue, which is only supposed to happen if you're commenting on a post of a certain age, and if you aren't on the cleared list of commenters. Worse, it didn't even put the comment into the queue. It just threw it out. I apologize if you've tried commenting here over the past few days. I'm afraid your comment was tossed aside like mere fish wrap. Truly sorry :( I think it was a problem with one of my spam filters. I think it's fixed now. Posted

My comments continue to be broken :(

Another try...
I actually commented recently on your post about DKos and your interview with Kos on Huffinton Post, and then never saw it appear. It wasn't worth worrying about, just an agreement with you, but it was bothersome to think you might be disallowing what I saw as a harmless comment. Or even worse, that you'd put me on the list of posters not worthy to comment. I'd much rather believe some mindless filter threw it in the bit bucket.
One of the things I like best about the Internet is being able to respond directly to people whose ideas I respect.
I'll be interested to see what happens to this one.

Frost Fan, sorry for the lost comment.
I moderate comments on postings that are more than two weeks old because the vast majority of such posts are pure spam. I only non-approve spam and "hi mom" posts, although I reserve the right to non-approve vicious attacks.

Me too, David. I commented on the Aug. 5 post about your interview with Markos Moulitsas. It was just a thank you 'cause I had missed it when you originally did the interview. I thought you were mad at me. ;)
I'm a pretty long time "Kossack" and am glad you reposted the interview.
Thanks for letting us know about the problem so we don't have to feel so rejected.
