Fillibustalito! Fillabustalito!

That’s very interesting. My senators are doing something completely different.
My senators are pushing a morally controversial obstructionist procedure against a fair man whose only sin is that he is a conservative. Moreover, these senators are playing a game that is lost from the very beginning.
What a coincidence, these senators are also called Kerry and Kennedy.

Isn’t it strange how the filibuster was a sacrosanct senatorial tradition, protecting the rights of the minority, when it was used to maintain such things as racial discrimination. But when it was taken up by a liberal faction against a judicial nominee with as convenient a memory lapse as claimed by any two-bit criminal defendant, and an insistence that the merits of constitutional argument for a Latin dictatorship deserved careful consideration, it became morally controversial and obstructionist.
