  1. That was funny and well-done. It was similar to what Steve Allen (unless it was Sid Caesar) did with Rock ‘N’ Roll songs by just reading them as if they were poetry (some were, I guess) in the 50s or 60s.

  2. And the Laugh-In guy– Pat Paulsen? Can’t remember. would do really funny straight faced readings of disco songs…beyond his Laugh in career.

    ok I just cheated and googled…he was a Smothers Brothers guy.

    Very fun to catch up on JOHO
