Responding to eBay scum

A seller on eBay with many thousands of deals under its belt sold me an expensive graphics card. The tracking number they gave me didn’t work and they didn’t respond to 4 emails on the topic. The board arrived in a relatively timely way, however. Unfortunately, the board was Dead on Arrival – huge artifacts in graphical games. I notified them of that the day that it arrived since their return policy only gives you two days to let them know.

Four emails later, they haven’t replied. Nothing. Not a word.

Two additional points: 1. I foolishly left them positive feedback while the board worked for the first couple of hours. 2. I’ve sent the board back to the manufacturer under warrantee.

Any suggestions about what I should do to let other eBayers know that LVCONSIGNMENTS is refusing to make good on the bad board they sent me?

  2. Telephone Him. That is if his contact info on file with ebay is current. Available to you since you are engaged in a transaction.

  3. It took me forever to find the older card I needed and after the slowest shipping in the world I got the card DOA. I contacted and sent it back but never recieved the money, I havn’t left feed back but if they are still around and I don’t get the money, it has been two months, it will be neg. Just remember don’t leave feed back until your warentee is up.

  4. Use ebay scum and get rid of these people

  5. the problem is most of the people who shop on ebay are scum, they buy products for less then one tenth of retail value and expect a waranty with it.

ebay was once a great way to make money now it is just a great place for people who are ball breakers to try and get things for as cheap as posible and then have the nerve to complain about it.

what you should do is call him everyday of your life until he either kills himself or buys you whatever you want at his own expence, that would be the correct way to handle it.

these people have destroyed ebay it may as well be closed down now, i have seen people offer $30 for $2000 items and the funny thing is they would probably not be able to come up with the $20

as you can see i have had it with complaints if you want waranty buy it at a retail store and just see how much you pay

  6. donkey boy you are exactly the right kind of an idiot I am waiting for at my auctions. You’d pay full price, I’ll sell you piece of cheap crap and lough all the way. You silly boy, no one wants to pay much for anything on Ebay because all Ebay stuff is cheap junk you can’t even find in local $2 shop.
