Meta-Roj got comment-spammed by the Swiftboat Veterans for Big Lies and is pissed. He retaliates by posting bunches of links, info about their domain, and a link to their Form 8872 finance report that lists the group’s email address as “no@email.”
(Note: Meta-Roj lists my blog, Loose Democracy, as one that escaped the blog spam. No such luck. And, I could have done without M-R’s Vietnamese comments, apparently based on the fact that the IP address for the boasting is the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre .)

The writer is really making a point. If you hold the writer to the standard to use spell check, why are we holding bush to the similar standard. First that he not lie to the American people. secondly, that he be consistant with the information of WMD which there is a strong lack. Thirdly, he should follow the road to who attacked us on 9/11. I thought he point is well taken. If the med person could look beyond their meds only then you will see the point with humour. Lighten up!

Following road to 9/11 attackers– Didn’t I hear that Osama may be dead in a cave somewhere in Afghanistan. Anybody got an update on that?
Didn’t this al-Zawkari ( sorry, spell-checker doesn’t do Arabic) lunatic who is running amok over in Irag have a part in 9/11 also. Be nice to send him to Allah also. Then maybe there can be some real elections over there and our troops can come home, finally.
Thank God this will all be over in a few days! Never in my 75 years of life have I witnessed so much hatred on both sides of the electorate.One thing is certain. Kerry would be a change. But can our great democratic experience endure with a person who has demonstrated over the past 30 years that he is more intersted in internationalism than in Americanism. And don’t bother dragging up his highly decorated 4 months in VietNam. He erased any honor he gained from his duty when he met with the Communists in Paris, and then went before congress and publicly defamed our troops.
Kerry voters: it may not be too late for you to change your mind before you vote, so here goes…
Do you want as President a man who voted to authorize putting troops into battle, then pulls his support from them?
Do you want a Commander in Chief who may have been discharged from the Navy less than honorably – we don’t know because he won’t open his military service records to us.
Do you really want to vote for Kerry when hundreds of those who fought with him in Vietnam are pleading with us that he can’t be trusted? Why didn’t Kerry answer those Swiftboat Veterans numerous, specific challenges to his version of events?
No WMDs you say? Ask yourself, exactly where would John Kerry fight terrorists, if not in Iraq? Terrorists are pouring into Iraq to fight us there; how is that a bad thing? Would Kerry rather fight them in Peroria?
Bush was absolutely right to take out an enemy like Saddam who would give any weapon he could to our enemies.
Bush does what is best for America. Do you truly believe we would be safer if we waited for the approval of France and the UN before we took action to protect ourselves?
You may have a lot of peer pressure for Kerry, or family expectations. You may be a lifelong Democrat, or a member of a teachers union. You are not a moron. You know in your heart the Michael Moore stuff is bullshit, don’t you.
Go the polls tomorrow and vote for Bush. Nobody will have to know, they will just wonder why you seem to be so happy and sleeping so well at night.
Do the right thing and vote for Geo W. Bush!

As a life long labor Democrat, I must confess to not voting for John Kerry. As a Viet Nam vet as was my brother and two brother in laws all of us agreed that we could not even hold our noses and vote for Kerry. I don’t give to political campaigns but I did proudly contribute to the Swift Boat Vets so the real message about Kerry could get out. Kerry should be tried for TREASON and should never be forgiven, no matter what he says now.

Those ‘big’ corporations are the same ones that employ millions of Americans. Kerry had alot of them contributing to his campaign too. I would rather kill all those terrorists over there in Iraq than wait for them to come here and kill my wife and children just because they could.

This is probably an old thread but it is an interesting one. To the Vietnam Vets with differing views: you have earned the right to have them. I am a Vietnam Vet and I also have views but there is no need to express them.Anything a Vietnam Vet says is perfectly ok by me. I can’t see myself arguing with one, they are different to me. Be advised though in your travels, that according to the last census more than 13 in 14 people claiming to be Vietnam Vets really aren’t.To you real vets out there I won’t say “welcome home” ,to me that phrase sucks, besides it’s about 35 years too late.

I am a Swiftboat Veteran and was proud to serve my country. It took 40 yrs for our country to know what a Swiftboat Sailors was and this is what we will be noted for The term SWIFTBOATING, not my service to my Country. Many of us only knew of Kerry from the War Protest that he was part of, while many of us joined in parades to support our country.
