I’m guessing that Avery is not a Canadian company.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t use “Joe Clark” as the stand-in name on its name-label package, the equivalent of using “Gerry Ford” in the US.

    Joe Clark was Prime Minister of Canada for a little over 15 minutes (okay, maybe a little longer) before he lost a non-confidence motion. He is typically referred to as “Joe Who” by Canadians anyway.
