Connecting two Linksys wifi access points

Paul English explains carefully how to set up two wifi access points if you need to cover a broader area…

He also has a nice appreciation of David Brudnoy, the long-time Boston-area radio talk show host who was opinionated without being stupid or obnoxious. I only heard him a few times, but his movie reviews were the best thing in the Boston Tab newsweekly.

  1. How can you have lived in Boston yet only heard David Brudnoy a few times. You’re not paying sufficient attention….

  2. Here’s my secret: If you don’t listen to the radio much, then it’s actually quite easy to have heard him only a few times.

  3. Sorry David – I believe that Brudnoy wasn’t benign, but only worked hard at sugar-coating his vile core – i.e., racism and other aspects of his
“conservative libertarianism”. I’ve sometimes had a perverse facination with the thinking of folks from the dark side and, therefore, listened to him enough to hear his occasional bleats about what I’ll call “people of color” – not a term he would use. PC, indeed – and so what. Nobody I’ve heard has spoken ill of him since his death, including Callie Crossley on “Beat the Press” on “Greater Boston” who sat in total silence while others lauded him. She’s black and she spoke volumes. A great irony is that he was praised for his courage for openly discussing
his AIDS. One had to go way out of the way to issue that praise given that he hid it for many years even to the extent of traveling to
Washington, D.C. to be treated until he could no longer hide it and was forced to come clean. His gentlemanly method with callers and guests with whom he disagreed was to politely let them have their say and then, after they left his company and with the last word, attack their positions. It was a classic Brudnoy cowardly tactic. How easy it is to sound articulate and learned when you can’t be challenged. He was kind to old ladies.
